Bakbz pear is a very popular in Transylvania, Hungary. The taste is pleasant, sweet. It is supposedly over 250 years old. On trial in our nursery.
This variety produces small fruit, but very prolifically at the end of July, beginning of August.
Bakbz pear is a very popular in Transylvania, Hungary. The taste is pleasant, sweet.
The flesh is white and good, the core can be gritty. The skin is a yellow background and a burgundy colouring on the sunny side.
It is supposedly over 250 years old
