Fruits have medium firm, moderately juicy flesh with a little sweet and a little rich flavour. They can hang like grapes.

This is a self fertile greengage, and is very productive. So much so that the fruits a bit smaller than a normal gage, but quantity makes up for the size. They can hang like grapes.
Rock hard when green, but turns quickly to a slight shade of yellow with a hint a red.
The flavour is not as intense as a high sugar content gage, more inbetween a gage and a plum sort of flavour.
