This is an excellent and rare variety from Italy. It has a reputation for producing large figs, well over 100 g, but they are very often smaller.
It is a very productive plant that bears fruit twice a year: once in late June and again in late August. However, we only go for the June crop as they are grown in the greenhouse, which ripen in early July. Then it's put outside for the autumn/winter.
