Apple - Annie Elizabeth - grafted MM106 Rootstock Bare Rooted
Very firm, late cooking apple which keeps well. Tree is very upright in habit.
Raised in 1857 by Samuel Greatorex, magistrates' clerk, Avenue Rd, Leicester. Named to commemorate his illegitimate baby daughter, who died in 1866. Introduced by Harrisons a few years later.
Very firm, late cooking apple which keeps well. The tree is very upright in habit. Blossom is said in many reference books to be unusually pretty.
I would recommend checking out Nigel Deacon's apple tasting video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xgKeORlgEEQ&t=1s
