Jászvadóka apple (lemon apple) is an old Hungarian apple variety.
Small-fruited, historical apple variety that comes from the Great Plains of Hungary. Due to its very early flowering, plant it in a frost protected place. The skin of the fruit is thick, slightly shiny. Ripe, lemon-yellow in colour with a red face on the sunny side. Its flesh is yellowish-white, crispy, with a pleasant sweet-sour, spicy taste.
Its fruits can be harvested from the beginning of September to the beginning of October, which can be stored excellently, even until the beginning of summer.
